Rain!

Lots of rain this afternoon. After tapping on the rungs of the tank (22,000 litres/5,000 gallons) I couldn't hear an"empty" sound, so I climbed up the ladder. I emptied the sieve of plum leaves and lifted it out, and the water is sitting just below the sieve - yay! The overflow is around the front of the tank, and isn't a proper overflow, it's just a hole cut in the side, so the excess water just trickles down the side of the tank. If there was a "proper" overflow I'd see the water gushing out, which would be far more exciting - and noticeable. No complaints, though. Oh, actually, I do have one complaint - not having enough money to buy a second tank!
